Not an issue to be taken lightly either, as our system in the UK is complicated. For example, the DWP will only change your sex marker if you obtain a GRC, so anyone reversing their legal gender change would need to obtain another *new* GRC in order to update certain records.
(so it can't be as simple as "your GRC has been reversed, you can use your original birth certificate again." - We would still need documentation, just like a Gender Recognition Certificate, to inform certain organisations and get our sex markers on their records changed back.)

Shocking that when the GRA was put together there was not accomodation for those who might come to realise that their distress was not ameliorated by living as if they were the opposite sex The GRA was clearly intended by govt to assist people with identity disorder not ideology
