I've faith the NHS would do all they can to help, but it would be far nicer if the government could listen to detransitioners and provide a detransition-specific legal process to easily reverse a Gender Recognition Certificate or obtain a new one in our original (biological) sex.

this seems a very urgent issue for government & a serious omission from the GRA having reduced the cost to £10 I wonder how many more people will realise in the future that they want to rescind the GRC & use their original birth certificate

Not an issue to be taken lightly either, as our system in the UK is complicated. For example, the DWP will only change your sex marker if you obtain a GRC, so anyone reversing their legal gender change would need to obtain another *new* GRC in order to update certain records.
