Talking today with the GIC about GRC reversal and I was mentioning that they said I'd need another GD diagnosis. The problem is, how does a female person get diagnosed as having GD in regards to wanting to be female? Going back when you've gone so far is unheard of, and they 1/

For sure, it would be nice to have a detrans-specific process! But doubt it'd happen anytime soon. It could all turn out fine and actually be possible, but we won't know until we try and that won't be until mid-2022 (due to needing 2yrs of evidence I've been "living as a woman").

Believe me, I don't want to jump through their hoops. Unfortunately unless the government decided to listen, which is their least favourite thing to do, there's no changing it. It is at least not a deliberate thing, they don't mean to treat detrans women the same as MtFs. 1/2

It's just that they cannot be arsed to consider the shortcomings of their Gender Recognition Act not providing a proper way back, because we have a government that doesn't think and doesn't want to listen. 2/2
