Side note, my GIC therapist talked about the word "detransition" as if it inherently means something transphobic... great to know the word describing my experience has already been warped for them. smh!

Could you please explain what you mean? How did the therapist refer to it?
I'm terrible at remembering word-for-word. It was just lumped together under other "transphobic terms" like "rogd" in conversation. GICs are patient-led though, so hopefully they don't actually believe that and are just parroting what other patients have likely portrayed it as.

So at the GICs, the idea that somebody could transition, realize it was a mistake, and want to change it......is inherently transphobic? I seriously hope that's not what's happening and I'm misunderstanding you.
