2/4) support that view and then spread the lie that if the kids can't get it we'll "risk seeing more suicides". I've no doubt that this scaremongering creates a sense of urgency mixed with dread and desperation which only worsens how dysphoric youths feel. Nothing good comes

3/4) from feeling like that. I had a different reason behind it, but those feelings were what spurred me on to "complete" transition - a huge regret. It's not the right state of mind for making decisions on your health that are as permanent as physical transition.

4/4) An irresponsible and harmful lie to spread for so many reasons, but the people who claim to want to help dysphoric kids - even some professionals who should know better - will shout it from the rooftops anyway despite being told that it can cause further harm. Shame on them.
