I was painfully cold in winter for years after detransitioning, and assumed it was due to damage to my "body thermostat" from the botched surgery that left me with a bony chest and fat armpits...
Either this winter is colder than all the others or T definitely raised my body temperature when I was on it because all I am now is freezing!

...but then, after I had been clean a few years, it got better, so I assumed that meant it had actually mostly been caused by heroin withdrawal. It never ocurred to me that hormones could have played a role.
