When a kid has been affirmed from the moment they joined a children's GIC, what does it matter if they were 18+ signing consent forms? What chance does a kid have when they've grown up surrounded by professionals all agreeing they have dysphoria, saying they're "text-book trans"

I have seen the argument that UK gender clinic waiting lists created a "friction" unwittingly giving children/adolescents time to grow out of dysphoria/ desire... but I do wonder what chance other approaches have, after someone has steeped so long in virtual & actual affirmation.
