i find it interesting that a bilateral mastectomy has been nicknamed "top surgery" amongst most ftms. the name is so detached from what the surgery actually is.
i've been think about this with srs too, what is at least three separate invasive and intensive surgeries all wrapped into one easy to digest term: "lower/bottom surgery"
