    An extension of the eviction ban is not the solution. We need legislative change to address the underlying issues of housing insecurity. This is a sticking plaster solution to a chronic condition.

    Our collective call from the health community alongside tenants unions forced a u-turn from the government on evictions, but we want assurance from the government that no one is made homeless if they lose their income during this pandemic.

    ICYMI, yesterday alongside 16 other public health bodies & 3 tenants unions, we wrote to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government, , & asked him to extend the eviction ban to protect private renters 🏘️ ⚕️
