My work is often compared with @jordanbpeterson’s.
I’ve had trouble understanding quite where he’s coming from.
This podcast made clear that yes, we do say similar things about many issues.
I did want to “on the other hand” him sometimes, though.https://twitter.com/Meaningness/status/995332885224837120 …

I never meant to imply that you're saying similar things!

Thanks! Others have said that, though; and after listening to that podcast, I think it’s broadly correct. With lots of “on the other hand”s, definitely.

Quite so. The
@TomAmarque interview made me realize how many obscure interests@jordanbpeterson and I have in common, and also that we agree strongly about many of them.1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

I still don’t fully understand JP’s program; but in Kegan terms, he seems to be leading from 3 to 4, whereas I’m more interested in 4 to 5. So, yes, I take systematicity (stage 4) for granted, mostly. Quantitatively, 3 to 4 is far more important! I just find it boringly obvious.

I do get Jungian sometimes, though! (and then semi-regret it.)https://buddhism-for-vampires.com/romancing-the-shadow …
