“Too Much Calculus” by Gilbert Strang, who taught me linear algebra in the late Victorian era and is still at it. Linear algebra is what we use for everything in the real world. Calculus is elegant, but you’ll never actually have to solve an integral. http://www-math.mit.edu/~gs/papers/essay.pdf …

Strang must be a centuries-old vampire by now, but seems way more in touch with math in the real world than most live math teachers. The curriculum, grade school through undergrad, hasn’t been significantly revised since computers happened. Suitable for zombies, not vampires.

Unfortunately I don’t know! It’s been a century or two since I did.

Honestly Strang’s own textbook is quite good if you take the time to work through it, and you can find his video lectures online.

The mid-70s version was already a classic… and it sounds like he’s done a great job of updating it!
