That’s OK, essentially nobody reads sutras, because they are obviously bad.

The whole Pali Canon is online. It’s an interesting exercise to just pick random texts in it and read them. Most are very short—one page.

The Mahayana sutras are much longer. Many are online, and you can skip around in them at random too.

I would guess that much less than 1% of Western Buddhists have spent more than a couple hours reading scripture. It is not encouraged…
