This is a concern for me because as I continue practice, I find myself in a relationship whose meaning I don't understand. It is troubling.

Allowing nebulosity as-it-is can help separate pragmatic concerns, for which pragmatic actions may be effective, from issues of meaning.

Hmm… “allowing nebulosity” does not imply passivity (although maybe it recommends not jumping to conclusions).
