@meaningness do you know of anything kirtan-esque in buddhism, chanting with increasing tempo? It does wonders for my mental state.

Yes! This is found mostly only in tantric Buddhism, because music is considered a sensual indulgence in mainstream Buddhism.

In Sutric Buddhism, there is mostly only monotone chanting of texts, unfortunately.
