Despite Seth Segal’s orientation to existentialism, here he recognizes it can’t do the job, and abandons it for Cosmic Consciousness.

There *is* a Cosmic Consciousness strand in East Asian Buddhism, but seems a move of desperation for an intelligent modern Western Buddhist.
