A real margarita is only tequila, Cointreau, & lime juice. Probably unlike & better than any you’ve had; bars never make them. #Fridayprotip

Be sure to use key limes if making margaritas at home. I use 4:3:2 tequila:Cointreau:lime, but official is 7:4:3: http://www.iba-world.com/index.php?option=com_content&id=259&tmpl=component&task=preview&Itemid=532 …

A real margarita is shaken and served without ice. It’s mostly spirits, and highly alcoholic. Does not contain Sprite, fruit, or umbrellas.

@Meaningness 30 years ago when I drank such things, I liked a crushed ice margarita from time to time. But sans RSG for sure.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
