Hey @Meaningness, I'm a huge of your work on Meaningness, Vividness, and Approaching Aro and I'd love to learn more about Aro Buddhism. Where should I look?
The website seems pretty simple. For a near-total beginner, do you recommend any of Ngakya Chogpam's books? What else?

Roaring Silence is probably the best starting point. After that, Wearing the Body of Visions.

Thanks! Started reading Roaring Silence, looks good. The first chapter recommends not reading ahead until you have some practice meditating shi-ne. 1) While starting to practice, should I read anything in the meantime? 2) Are Headspace/Waking Up useful for practicing shi-ne?

The intent of that warning is just that there’s a spoiler ahead. So you could read anything else you like. I recommended some other books here:https://vividness.live/2012/04/27/now-you-something-say/#introductions …

Meditation apps teach different meditation methods. It’s probably better to stick with just one method initially; mixing up different ones could get confusing. It probably doesn’t matter which you pick, just that you stick with one for a few months before branching out.

Oh, also, the free email-based Aro meditation course could be a good supplement to Roaring Silence. It's more concrete and practice-oriented, less theoretical. http://aromeditation.org/
