PSA: If you get “Payment Status Not Available” when using the IRS Get My Payment web site: Try again using ALL CAPS. (Worked for me, and for many others.) Broken for weeks. Fixing would take one programmer ten minutes. Not the worst systematic breakdown, but symptomatic.

Sorry to hear! Apparently the IRS is using the USPS’s address database, and forcing an exact match. The USPS thing can be fussy about abbreviations and stuff, as well as requiring ALL CAPS. There’s online tools that will change an address to their format, but couldn’t find easily

From what I’ve found on the web, no, it needs to match the result of passing the address on your return through the USPS address standardization system. (I can’t be sure this information is correct, but it makes sense of what I’ve seen)

I am sorry, I didn’t find it with five minutes of looking, you’d have to look yourself :(
