Dzogchen overall begins where tantra ends, namely nonduality. So the diagram of lines is accurate except that the naljor is not actually Dzogchen, and that the dé are not sequential.

The center he founded in Berkeley is still operating. I visited a couple years ago and got an insiders’ tour which was pretty interesting. Very traditional gompa stuff in basement rooms together with nice-Buddhism stuff upstairs.

He personally stopped teaching Injis and all public appearances without explanation, afaik, sometime around 1990 (?). The Inji-accessible institutions of his lineage are now all led by Injis. They’re still active and reasonably popular, although boring afaict.

Ah ok, I’ve got one of the TSK books but only recently found out there are a bunch more of them. I’ll make a note to read more of them.
