In some Buddhist texts — such as some of the guidance for meditators by Jigme Lingpa (1729-1798) — the image of white ravens is used similarly to how black swan gets used, although a white raven has a connotation that most people don’t want to hear it.

Oh how funny. Yeah he mentions them in The Lions Roar Which Cuts The Deviations of Those Meditating on The Heart Essence, translations by Sam Van Schaik in _Approaching..._ and David Christensen _The Fearless Lion’s Roar_, which has commentary from Nyoshul Khenpo.
