Hmm, I took him as saying that the Millenial right hasn’t managed to articulate a positive conception that’s credible enough to appeal to more than a small fraction of potential adherents. Maybe I misunderstood?

I agree that some conception of the good that is both realistic and appealing is important, but no one seems to have one :(

I think no one has worked out explicit verbal philosophy, but there are definitely still competing substantive worldviews here. As they get worked out on a deeper level, much will change, but they are real.
