I'm still going through my books at my parents' place and I've triaged 95% of them to be given away to charity and now I'm down to the hard questions: 1. Does this area of knowledge spark joy? 2. If I wanted to learn this, would I be better off finding another book for it?

So far I have decided that physics no longer sparks joy and that I have much better sources to ask about Buddhism than I did nearly 20 years ago when I bought these books.

(Physics absolutely still sparks joy, but not in a way where I will ever realistically learn modern physics, and if I did I doubt I could use these books for that)

I don't know why I own this. Even at my peak maths this wasn't my field and I wouldn't have understood it.pic.twitter.com/K7PZ5FHeuk

I mean I do know why, the answer is going to be that it was cheap at Galloway and Porter and I had no impulse control
