I mean, it's there in your body – you can't avoid it! But yes, I think lots of stuff in zen isn't really written about.

From the same source - energy, and have no distinct dualistic characteristics, and that "ordinary mind is the way" is talking about how the aspects of the ordinary mind are actually methods for processing and experiencing energy, and so on. But of course there is more to it

This crossed my mind as I was reading Wikipedia articles to check my claim. It seems there's a style of how zen practice is discussed in English that doesn't quite communicate the mystical or energetic dimension.

I think you've about nailed it. The translators come from a western perspective, which is oriented in the intellect. But if you read into what they are saying, and identify it with your own experience of your energetic body, it resounds extremely profoundly and is usable advice.

Yes, I think the answer is "no," but neither Rin'dzin nor I are formally involved with Aro gTér at this point, so... we're not really the people to ask :) There's a contact email on the website you could try, but presumably http://aroevents.org is up-to-date.
