Sorry, I didn’t mean to give you a hard time! It’s notoriously difficult to understand EM accurately. You are nearly on-target; one thing emphasized in EM studies of sciencing is the differences between what is done and the official story of what is done.

I'm really curious about what's wrong about the Popperian Problems => Conjectures => Criticism by Experiment scheme? Noting that problems aren't only conflicts/paradoxes in an explanation, but basically anything that makes one dissatisfied about it.

And happy accidents. Any singular all encompassing Scientific Methods™ are going to have a lot of counterexamples like this, as well as capture things that aren't science. Method is not all there is to science, and is varied and heterogeneous

These are good points! Falsificationism, like other brands of rationalism, is immediately falsified if you test it empirically, instead of taking it as metaphysical dogma. For multiple reasons, as with other rationalisms.
