I was actually trying to get Compass, the Sass compiler, running. It was written in Ruby. I eventually discovered there’s a new javascript implementation of Compass… presumably because I’m not the only one who can’t run Ruby? Anyway, that one works:https://scout-app.io/

Thanks… that was what wasn’t working for me. Eventually got a gcc internal error, at which point I gave up.

I install rvm and then just pick a version. Usually works flawlessly we least on macos and ubuntu

I was trying to get rbenv to work… is rvm a better choice? I’ve never had to use ruby before at all

https://nixos.org/nix/ install + `nix-env -iA compass` should work on both CentOS and macOS
