One of his points is that relevance cannot be formalized of finitely specified, which I agree with and consider important. It’s closely related to “nebulosity,” the enumerable indefiniteness of situations. Is that what you have in mind?

The question then becomes how organisms with finite resources go about constructing something that can operate within those finite metabolic boundaries. I think there may be an equivocation between definite/indefinite and finite/infinite, since infinite implies indefinite.

The project of making sense of the world (i.e. discovering the world's intelligibility) implies that we have at our disposal the capacity to make sense of the world. That is only possible if we can deal with combinatorial explosion in a non-combinatorially-explosive manner.
