Hey @Meaningness, @edelwax told me that you think the Dzogchen idea of 'methods' is equivalent to Joe's idea of values.
Have you written about method before? Where can I learn more about it?

I think what I was trying to say in the first one is that Joe categorizes something like “accepting uncertainty” as a value, whereas for Dzogchen it’s a method. It might be odd to regard that as a method, therefore “technical,” but the sense of “method” is itself standard.

Is he referring to the idea of Upaya? In that case, the parallel to Joe’s idea of values would be that they are ways of acting with incomplete information. Not ultimately true but useful.
