If you don't mind me asking, what are the different fields that you've investigated and on what topic? I would guess one topic is the nebulous category cognition/nature of consciousness/perception/attention, and the fields are AI, ML, philosophy, spiritual practices.

Yes, you could add to that list many different branches of cognitive psychology (which don’t talk to each other), many different branches of philosophy (same), several different branches of sociology and anthropology, etc.
