Just got an awesome book-sharing request from a workshop I'm attending this weekend. I am totally stealing this to use in future workshops (and I hope others will steal it too).pic.twitter.com/eJCFvIqYmZ

Just ordered Brand's "How Buildings Learn", Illich's "Deschooling Society", Ostrom's "Governing the Commons", Adams's "Watership Down", Lakatos's "Proofs and Refutations", Gleick's "Genius". Six books I love, and hope someone else will enjoy too.
Any list with Watership Down on it makes me want to read the rest! I already know Genius is excellent, and Lakatos is in the queue...
I'm a big fan of Proofs and Refutations. As well as being very good it's also hilarious
I've read an excerpt (the first part of the discussion of Euler's theorem for polyhedra) so I know it's good! Somehow it never quite gets to the top of the reading pile though, I don't know why
I also am embarrassed to say that I’ve read only excerpts, despite good intentions
How Buildings Learn was made into a documentary series, available on YouTube. Strong recommend for downtime watching
