@_awbery_ @Meaningness Sorry for the imposition. Are there podcasts aimed at meditation beginners, esp. Vajrayana? "Buddhist Geeks", "Deconstructing Yourself", "Imperfect Buddha" are all fine, but the finer points of enlightenment, stream entry, etc. are not... applicable to me.

There’s quite a few meditation-for-beginners podcasts (according to my podcast app
@OvercastFM). I don’t know which (if any) are good, unfortunately. For Vajrayana, Unfettered Mind by@kenmcleod might be worth a try. Not aimed at beginners or mainly about meditation though!3 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

I like the interview format of
@buddhistgeeks and@DeconstructingU. I selfishly suggest that they interview teachers specifically about how they teach and help newbies. 1/43 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -

There are sooooooo many shows that are dedicated to beginners. Literally dozens and dozens.

Thanks, could you point to some that are specifically dedicated to beginners approaching Vajrayana (as distinct from Mahayana or Mahasi style) meditation?

Not recommending these necessarily, since I haven't listened, but a quick search yields: Sakya Monastery, Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive, Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center, Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, and everything on this page:https://player.fm/podcasts/Tibetan-Buddhism …

Also, if you're willing to do a learning program rather than a podcast, the "Mahamudra for the Modern World" series by Reggie Ray starts from scratch and takes you through a long learning journey that is quite well done.

I can second the recommendations for Reggie Ray, Kenchen Thrangu, and Lama Yeshe!
