@_awbery_ @Meaningness Sorry for the imposition. Are there podcasts aimed at meditation beginners, esp. Vajrayana? "Buddhist Geeks", "Deconstructing Yourself", "Imperfect Buddha" are all fine, but the finer points of enlightenment, stream entry, etc. are not... applicable to me.

I like the interview format of
@buddhistgeeks and@DeconstructingU. I selfishly suggest that they interview teachers specifically about how they teach and help newbies. 1/4 - 6 more replies

Talking about it this morning, trying to think of any apps or podcasts that are specifically both for beginners and Vajarayana and, nope, can’t think of one. Everything I know of is Mahasi style. There is a wide open gap for beginners approaching Vajrayana!

There's a reason for the gap. Vajrayana is not for beginners. It assumes a certain level of capability and a certain level of experience.

Not quite accurate. There is quite a lot of material for newbies on unfettered http://mind.org , but you have to dig around for it. There is some material on Vajrayana, but you'll probably find more on http://musingsbyken.blogspot.com .
