Things they got right? That metaphysics is dogmatic and not inevitable. Things they got wrong? Nearly everything else!

Well, yes. And I couldn't find a good summary anywhere of all the things they got wrong specifically, so I had to write one. But I think they were right that science has a special value, although quite wrong about how that works. And their optimism was valuable if questionable.
