"So ideally someone would invent a ngöndro that efficiently induces emptiness, is well-suited to contemporary people, [...] in the style of contemporary [...] tantra." Extraordinary claim, but I have spent thousands of hours on this. Please follow me, so I can DM? Brief thoughts.

Nice complement to
@awbery's recent post. The presentation of TMI and MTCB had always rubbed me the wrong way but I could never pinpoint why. This was helpful in understanding the possible reason behind itThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Tantra vs Jindan? The "method" is reversal/inversion-flipping the world on its head. I style it: re-ordering of perception/action/mass. De-coupling body & story. Persistent de-systemization. I am spaciously-passionate to to get your take on my book.https://amzn.to/2LGGyI2

Couldn't make it past mandala offerings and guru yoga. Definitely got something from the first two though. Think the replacement needs the same rigour and depth. Maybe not possible now?

I'm more inclined though to think nongdro works fine. It's just for very very small group able and willing to take travel that path. Should have stayed a secret esoteric practice. Never intended for masses.

“Ngöndro” has been a major obstacle to modern Vajrayana Buddhism. It’s an anachronism; it’s time for a replacement.
