I like the phrase “the ludic” that Taleb uses to refer to the domain where rational games reign. With the implication that IYIs (intellectual, yet idiots) overestimate the size of this domain.

“Rationalism” means Aristotle, Kant, Russell and the like. There are living rationalists but they are historically insignificant (so far).
