The best part about publicly writing about what you find interesting and important in the world is that it creates a natural funnel of wonderful people reaching out to share perspectives, feedback, and pointers on exactly those topics you care about

How do you publicize your writing tho to bring wonderful people into the funnel? Seems like having an audience (on Twitter/newsletter etc) is a prerequisite and only then will writing lead to this positive feedback loop

I don’t have a tonne of followers (or blog readers), but I started by talking to people I admired on twitter and then mentioning a post I had written if it was appropriate. Often their followers would be interested too (avoids shameless shilling).
