One way to look at it is to see the idea of stage 5 as a scaffold for stage 5. So back then when I developed a stage 5 mental habit I had to attach it to the big idea but now chances are I can just attach it to another nearby already established stage 5 habit.

It feels a bit like having crossed a watershed, I no longer have keep my eye on the goal because now slowly drifting downhill will get me there eventually.
