Should I split off a separate twitter account for tweets about Buddhism? I'd keep this one for sci-tech, society, and secular methods of meaning.

"sadhana chanting was a way to get magical effects without the monks understanding what they were doing" This sums up the feeling I get whenever I participate a group sadhana. I am mesmerized by the lack of even basic explanations of their principle and function.

I want to specify though that I have had *some* good experiences with Sadhana chanting. However, for that I can thank the fact that it was possible to use the insight gained from my normal 4 naljors + mantra practice to adopt a functional attitude.
