@Meaningness Have you seen some ethnomethodological accounts of statistical analysis? It seems to me that statistical practice could have a lot to gain from such reflection (as well as maybe by drawing inspiration from approaches to analysing texts instead of data!)

Serious mathematical proofs are often experienced in the body. In discovery, you feel around for a proof kinesthetically. You may also act out the math with gestures and grimaces and whole-body attitudes.
