The strength of vidya is interactivity/immersion, so "story-telling" is expressed best through level architecture and scattered bits of dialogue/flavortext that the user indulges with at their own discretion.

While video games as a medium are *very* restricted in what sort of story-telling can be done, this sort of granular, slow-paced, non-linear story-telling is probably more suited to games or "hypertext novels" (a la
