I think what’s actually happening with Trump and AOC is that everyone is tired of pretending the policy points are all that matter or that they even especially matter. Authenticity and character are becoming more valuable.

So I didn’t read all but skimmed. I think this is more reasonable and substantive than that implies. Some unclear decision points do matter. Unexpected events happen, sometimes such that the issue is unclear even in partisan terms, and it matters who is making the decision.
