If my experience generalizes, the perpetual darkness may be more salient. The UK would be wonderful if they’d just adopt my obviously sensible proposal to begin towing Britain south each September, ending just west of Senegal by the solstice; and back to arrive early May.

I think the intended policy outcome here is a good one - more light and sunshine for UK residents. People would be happier and healthier. But I have questions about the feasibility of the “towing.” Would the land be floating? Or dragged across the sea bed?
