Young people in need of construction go to college and are taught "deconstruction." This is rather like hiring a demolition crew to build a house.

I think most high school graduates could easily have heavily consolidated and stable rationality, if it were not for the fact that the grade school system itself is so high pressure and irrational that students themselves learn irrationality as a survival mechanism.

In some sense deconstruction is useful for unravelling the internal shitstorm of belief hacks used in order to survive, but without a lot of strong stable support it's a bit like giving someone with schizophrenia a pistol to shoot their dillusions with.
