I came across a funny example of problem formation yesterday (cc @Meaningness).
@thilogross, a researcher in Bristol (where I live), showed that Bristol's version of the Königsberg bridge problem (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Bridges_of_K%C3%B6nigsberg …) *is* soluble, and walked the resulting 33 mile circuit...
Coombe Dingle, Westbury, Blaise Castle area was one of my favorites. Another: Ashton Court out to Dundry. Pub in Dundry is an excellent destination :)

I also like the Avon path out to Pill (not so keen on the Avonmouth motorway bridge but there are good views). And the Frome river walk out to Winterbourne and Chipping Sodbury.

Pill, yes… I don’t think I got as far as Chipping Sodbury in that direction

I walked to Ashton Court today! I completely messed up walking to Dundry when I tried last year, and then got chased by cows on the walk back to south Bristol. Should try again and go to that pub. Blaise Castle is also good!pic.twitter.com/MvxjkdXDP0

Geez, you are making me homesick!

It was closed last time I went, a few years ago now. I hope not for good. The food there was excellent.

Yeah it reopened and has good reviews.
