Yes. It will be interesting to see what happens to the Tibetan religious community en masse as the oldest generation departs. Namkhai Norbu was for me the most interesting - due to his clear presentation of systems as method. Unlike others, his presentations were meta-systematic.

Hmm… Many other things get repackaged and sold as Dzogchen. Usually it’s easiest to recognize that the “Dzogchen” is specifically something else (Madhyamaka, Paramitayana, tantric ngöndro, funerary ritual, …). Otherwise, you need to be able to recognize Dzogchen; that’s harder.
