Falsificationism definitely. Analogous to test-driven development. Can be useful for complex systems, but rarely in simpler settings. Also rarely possible without significant prior theoretical work (which may depend on initial tests and exploratory data analysis beforehand).
Re: Bayesianism, in this setting a MAP estimate would use an uninformative prior given lack of pre-existing knowledge, and would ultimately just reduce to a single point estimate of an observable parameter. Still arguably fits the process.
