At risk of oblivious obviousness: the same pattern applies to “Enlightenment values.” Which are not exactly the values of the Enlightenment, which was diverse and not exactly a thing. But still “Enlightenment values” is a semi-well-defined thing people need to talk about.

Definitely, there are many examples. I used "romanticism", "capitalism" and "patriarchy" but almost any complex and contentious concept works like this.
