If intuitive idea of causality is mechanistic, and intuitive ideas of mechanics are based on logic, and logic has shown all truths (effects) can’t be derived from axioms (causes), where does this leave our idea of causality?

That said, it’s not clear all intuitive ideas of causality are mechanistic, I’m pretty sure intuitive mechanistic ideas are not based on logic, and the incompleteness of logic is rarely a problem in practice.
