That’s terrible. That’s right by the playground where all the dealers hang out.

Hell no. I drove by there when we were at UCSF for my kid’s surgery a couple weeks ago. Dealers everywhere. I got stuck behind a guy double parked next to that no right turn on red sign who was dealing out in the open.

So I have a genuine question. Is there a way to put a playground on the roof of a building where only people w kids have card access to use it? If there’s a way to wall off and fence the perimeter of the playground do it’s safe, it might be a better option for the kids.

Putting a playground on a rooftop seems reasonable. However, Tenderloin children shouldn't be caged on a rooftop just because
@chesaboudin and@LondonBreed decided one day to let drug dealers take over the city.#SanFrancisco1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

Agreed but it might be a nice option to provide better then what they have now and keep them safe. The playground at Lafayette Park is so nice. But the one in the TL even wo the dealers is crazy. Kids are hard enough to keep safe under normal conditions.
