I just saw a man put a whole ass book into his jacket. A BOOK. A WHOLE NOVEL. He just carries it around in a pocket that came PRE MADE IN HIS JACKET. Meanwhile I can't put my phone and wallet into the one pocket without something falling out. I am fuelled by rage and envy.

since music school, i’ve always been told to make music that’s more ‘universal.’ i found that to be horrible advice. i really believe the more specific you are about niche thoughts and experiences, the more it’ll resonate. even with people completely different from you
