    The novel way police in Italy hacked suspects' phones: 1) Get cell network to turn off suspect's data service, 2) Send suspect a text telling them to use WiFi to download an app from the Play Store to fix the issue, 3) use that app to deliver spyware. 😱

    Welp. It happened today. I felt pretty overwhelmed and hopeless. But instead of sitting in it alone, I told my coworkers & the wonderful helped me break the problem down, explain a crtical piece I was confused about, & come up with next steps.

    I'm currently on "Mt. Stupid" in my Windows kernel adventures. I'm feeling pretty damn good & confident. But don't worry, by next Wednesday I'm sure to be in the "Valley of Despair". This is how learning new things works for all of us, you just get better at recognizing it.
